My Baby Bump Journal – 10 weeks

I’m 10 weeks Today!!
Today @ 10:00am I have my first appointment! I’ll let you know what happeneds!!

Baby is the size of a Kumquat

Baby has completed the most critical portion of development, baby is swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they’ll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy.

10:11pm finally able to sit down and tell you all about my appointment. So I arrived at the hospital for my appointment I filled out a lot of papers…. not fun! Shortly after the assistant took my height and weight 164 lbs. Then we went to room and she asked me ton of past medical history. The most amazing part of this visit was hearing my little babies heart beat 174 bpm. My husband recorded it and has it on his phone I will try to upload it on here tomorrow. This part always amazes me. It’s so amazing to know that I have a little person inside me, God proves his awesomeness, love to me yet again.

I have another appointment at the end of the month but I’m not sure if ill be able to go to it, since my husbands would have to take off work again, (military “not that easy”). So I think ill be going to my appointment till I come back from our California/Arizona vacation. This week I’ve felt a bit better my hubby has helped me a lot this week with chores around the house and he let me take a nap this afternoon and took care of the kids and cleaned, which is so nice.

I’ve been craving a lot of fruit, pasta, non-meat meals. I feel good and notice that my clothes is starting to fit more snug around my waist and hips 🙂 so wanting to go get some more comfy clothes. Overall though feeling a bit better this week, been busy with appointments and things to do around the house and getting ready for our trip soon.

Stay tuned for next week…Be sure to check out my friends blogs below.

  1. I am certainly glad you are feeling better! I didn’t get to hear, but I saw the baby’s heart beating. Have a fun and safe trip.
