Mom’s Know Best !

Growing up I remember my grandma, and mother telling us as kids. To always drink plenty of water, for that is the most important Element in our bodies. Now that I’m older and have kids of my own, I also implement that to them. My daughter whom is 6 years old knows that she needs to stay hydrated in order to function. We live in South Texas. So you know, it’s hot here and the only way to stay cool is by hydrating and staying away from the sun. Everywhere we go we carry our Nestlé pure life jugs. We either stick them in our ice chests or I put some in the freezer to have them ready when we are on the go. Some fun ways to get them involved is

  • buying them their very own water bottle.
  • Making fun ice cubes to put in there cup of water.
  • Adding some fruit to their water.

Kids like to do fun stuff and like to be involved so just keep it fun.

Lastly water is an essential to our bodies, without it we cannot live. Just yesterday my mom turned 48 years old yesterday. Happy Birthday Mom. Pray to have you for many more years.

Become a fan of Nestlé® Pure Life® on Facebook and stay tuned for the launch of this year’s Hydration Movement in late July! Nestlé® Pure Life® will continue to focus on healthy hydration, while also embracing Mom’s Wisdom – sharing and discovering all of the little things that moms have shared over the generations that make our lives better. And one thing all moms can agree on is that it’s important to keep the family healthy, hydrated and happy.

This year, Nestlé® Pure Life® is asking fans to take a simple online pledge to drink more water. They can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes and share their own wisdom through the Facebook mosaic.

  1. I am not a huge fan of Nestle because of their marketing of baby formula. I also do not drink much bottled water. Only when bottled water is my only choice.

To get myself to drink more water, I keep some liter jugs in the fridge.

we also use to hate buying bottled water Heather, but since we live in TX and we are renting we do not have a water system, we also buy the Gallon but that water is not cold so we buy bottled water to drink and the gallon to cook, rest assured we do recycle. 🙂

  2. Wonderful post and I am in Fort Worth so I know how hot it can get and how important water is. I am in the campaign as well so if you have time stop by.
