Quest Nutrition on the Road.

My husband and I, recently attended the ABC KIDS SHOW in Las Vegas. While, we were super stoked about taking a mini vacation. We were also planning, on what and how we would eat. As some of you may know, I follow a iifym (if it fits you’re macros) diet. So even if we decided to splurge a little, it would be totally fine. So long as I can fit in my macros, granted we knew we didn’t want to eat out everyday while in Las Vegas. (1) It would be pricy (2) We didn’t want to go way off track on our diets, it’s so easy to gain the weight yet so hard to loose it.

So we went grocery shopping, for a few things to take back our hotel and cook up. We also had some AMAZING protein bars and protein chips, all thanks to Quest Nutrition for supplying us with these goodies. Which we ate on the road and while in Las Vegas, shared some with our friends and family. Keeping us on track with our diet’s. It’s okay to live a little, but also knowing you’re limits. All in moderation.

Quest Nutrition on the Road

Still wondering about those Quest Bars I mentioned earlier?? Yeah, they’re pretty AMAZING. I’ve tried a few protein bars (Cliffs, Nature Valley,Larabar.. just to name a few) since starting my fitness journey. I gotta say; I was never impressed, some are too sweet, bland, and just the same ol taste and if you’re eating them as “snacks” in between you’re daily means; these can get boring and you just get tired of them. Do you know what I mean? We are human, and we do get cravings and that’s where Quest Bars & Quest Protein Chips, come in to play. They are soft, chewy, filling, taste is amazing BUT wait, not only do they taste amazing, but the Nurtitonal Facts are great, it has one of the highest whey proteins which is fantastic. The MACROS are not bad at all (check the back of each bar, they will differ based on the flavor you have) I fit them no problem. Cookies & Cream is one of favorite, taste just like C&C with only 1g of sugar? What? That’s insanely AMAZING. Do you catch my drift here?? You gotta try these bad boys. I sometimes replace these with my protein shakes, I mean they are so delicious.

Quest Bar – Cinnamon Roll made by me.

Overall, I highly recommend Quest Bars. Actually that’s the ONLY protein bar you’ll ever see in my home. Once you love something, everything else can’t compete. Some of my personal favorites are Cookies & Cream, Cookie Dough, Cinnamon Bun, Double Chocolate Chunk, Strawberry Cheesecake, Coconut Cashew. They are all amazing just listing a few of my favorite ones. Another thing I love about Quest Nutrition is they have these 15 second videos of different ways to eat you’re Quest Bars. I freaken LOVE these videos, I’ve tried a few myself. Check them out HERE

Lastly, Quest Nutritions came out with a new product. Chips!!  Protein Chips, that is. Those bad boys are also great. They are crunchy, flavorful, contain a total of 21g of protein; no soy, gluten free and only 5g total carbs. This is how we’ve been eating these chips. My husband always, has to have chips with his sandwiches. What, better way then to do it with Protein Chips that taste DELISH!!!! Quest Nutrition Meal

  1. My favorite flavors are chocolate chip cookie dough and cinnamon roll. I’m dying to try other flavors. They’re my favorite protein bar as well! Very delicious and healthy.

  2. Okay, I’m sold! Where do you buy these at, though? I’ve never seen them in stores, so is it only online? Or at specialty stores? (And hmm, no counting …. okay, I’m going to say you said “AMAZING” …. 11 times? Now I’m going to go see what the answer is!) 😉

yay!! I’ll be sending yours out beautiful. I’ll message you to get you’re info. Also i added the info on where to buy. Sorry I totally forgot about that. It’s now added though.

  3. LMAO, they sound amazing. 😉 I guess 8 times. Their flavors looks delish.

  4. I will have to give these a try as we are doing a weight loss challenge right now!

    • Sew Fatty says:

You def. have to try them love. These are the perfect snack, healthy and it’s sticks to you’re weight loss challenge.

  5. They do look yummy which is so hard to find in a protein bar. What is the fits into your macros diet?

    • Sew Fatty says:

It’s an awesome diet. You should check it out Bert. A lot of people that “eat clean” sometimes have cheat days, but on that cheat day they binge all day. Making the weeks worth of hard work gone to waste in a sense. IIFYM allows you to eat 85% healthy 15% whatever you want so long as it fits you’re protein, fat, carbs intake. Check it out http://iifym.com

  6. I am not a huge fan of protein bars and they almost all contain nuts 🙁 However, I admire your dedication and your commitment to fitness.

    • Sew Fatty says:

You should def. check the nutritional facts on the back of these Malanie. They may have some that are nut free.

I love me some comments, speak your mind.
