Valenzuela’s spend a day at the Baltimore Zoo #imaginehow

Hey Hey Hey !!

Let’s go to the ZOO!! This summer Stonyfield YoKids is partnering with AZA/SAFE – the Association of Zoos & Aquariums Saving Animals from Extinction! To help give back to endangered species. You’ll notice that Stonyfield’s YoKids product line, this year will have a variety of beautiful species on the packaging, helping promote awareness of AZA SAFE and the endangered species. Throughout the year, Stonyfield will be contributing funds for the non-profit’s research and conservation efforts. When you purchase any two Stonyfield YoKids with the special packaging, there will be an on-pack offer to receive a children’s zoo admission free with the purchase of an adult ticket visit any of the 131 participating AZA accredited zoos and aquariums. To help celebrate this amazing cause, my little family  took a trip to our local Maryland (Baltimore) Zoo. Click on this link to learn more.

My kids had such a blast checking out all the different animals. Ashton, did ask ? Do the animals live here forever? Because, I’m sure they want to live in the wild. It made me think about how true that is. I love that the AZA is saving animals from extinction which is something we need. However, I thought it was something so smart for Ashton to ask. The boys even got their face painted with their favorite animal they seen at the zoo. Ashton got a fox and little Edward got a rhino.

Overall, we had an amazing day. The day was a bit overcast but yet so perfect, as the day went on the sun decided to peek through. The Zoo was great, we had never been to Baltimore Zoo. So, it was such a sweet surprise for the kids. I love working with companies that truly care about our planet. Stonyfield continues to impress me and I continue to support them. Thank you so much to the The Maryland Zoo and Stonyfield for the opportunity to take my family on a fun filled day.

Stonyfield Whole Milk Smoothies

Hi, Friends.

I am super excited to share the newest Stonyfield product – whole milk smoothies. These smoothies have less sugar than their original smoothies, with with the same great taste. They have 6 grams of proteins, along with 6 live active cultures, vitamin A, D, and calcium.

They come in Peach or Strawberry and they’re both super delish. They are perfect for “on-the-go” sometimes I’m running errands and don’t have quite enough time to make something to eat. I grab one of these smoothies and it holds me up from being hungry. Not to mention the kids absolutely love these smoothies, if it wasn’t for me putting a limit to the smoothies they drank. I wouldn’t have any by the end of the day. hehe. I’ve also been adding one to my daughter’s lunch, and she loves them.

In the summer time, I want to make some yogurt pops. I made those last year and they were a big hit!

Pay it Forward.

I have been blessed to be part of the Stonyfield Team. Throughout the years they’ve proven time after time to be one of the greatest companies I have worked for, thus far. This Holiday season Stonyfield gave me a $50 dollar gift certificate to “Pay it Forward”. Are they not super awesome.

My brother recently became a staff volunteer for the Montgomery County Department of Human Services and Family Services, Inc. That provides accessible services to at-risk children and their families to improve adjustment to and performance in school, home, and community. Prevention and early intervention services include health, mental health, social services and educational support. The majority of the kids are Spanish speakers and so he’s been helping with translating for the parents during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Which staff and parents really appreciate.

So, my brother and I came together and purchased clothes for these kids, we used the entire $50 plus then some. I was so happy that we could be a blessing to a few kids. The feeling you get inside your heart and soul to know you have done something good. Feels amazing. I encourage you to “Pay it forward” whenever you get a chance. I promise you will not only will you be a blessing to that other person but you will feel great about it. God will bless you ten times more. Huge, Thank You to Stonyfield for having such a big heart and giving back to the community through us Bloggers.
