What is a Fitted Cloth Diaper?

Fitted is a type of cloth diaper that requires a cloth diaper cover to be considered waterproof. They wrap around your baby just like a disposable diaper would. They are made of absorbent material such as cotton, bamboo, cotton velour, hemp. Some fitted’s come with closure types such as snaps, aplix, or snap-less which in this case you could use a Snappi or Boingo to fasten. They come in one size meaning size is adjustable or sized (ex. XS, S, M, L, XL). Fitted’s are very absorbent since the whole diaper is made of absorbent material. For this reason, many mom’s choose to put there little ones in fitted’s at night.

Why do I love Fitted’s ?

I love fitted’s for night time diapering for the simple fact that they will absorb great for my heavy wetter. They are made with natural fibers which is another plus for me. Fitted’s come in many cute prints as well, which is always fun. They are breathable making it nice to have them on when you want to give your babies some air out time. One of the disadvantages is that you have to purchase a separate cover to make them completely waterproof.
